Moodle: Simple Restore

Simple Restore allows you to restore content from a Moodle backup file into your current course and is accessed from Course Tools.  The Course Tools link is located at the bottom of the left sidebar on your course main page.  Click the Course Tools link and the Simple Restore block can be found near the bottom right of the screen (you will need to scroll down in order to see it) 

Simple Restore provides 2 options for restoring content into your course:

• Import all materials into current course will merge the contents of the backup file with any content already present in the course.
• Overwrite current course will replace existing course content with that of the backup file.

If you have made recent changes to the course containing the source content, you may need to create a new backup file.
