Moodle: Activities & Resources: Add Attendance
The Attendance activity is designed for teachers to be able take attendance during class, and for students to be able to view their own attendance record.
Note: If a student is removed/dropped from a course (unenrolled), and added back, their attendance record will not be retained unless the instructor regularly saves the report to a secure location.
To Add Attendance:
1. Login to Moodle and select desired course.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Create Learning Activity.

3. Select Attendance under the activities list of adding a new activity or resource. Then select Add

4. Type in a Name for this attendance, then personalize the attendance in the Attendance Settings. When finished, click Save and Return to Course at the bottom.

5. The Attendance will then appear in your selected topic section.

For more information on adding attendance, read the following documentation from Moodle Docs. Note that the documentation does not show the SNAP Theme, but the functionality of the settings is the same. All links will open in a new window.
