Moodle 3: Activities & Resources: External Tools: MH Campus

MH Campus integrates all of your digital products from McGraw-Hill Education with Moodle for quick and easy access to best-in-class content and learning tools.


To Add the MH Campus Tool External Tool:

1. Log in to Moodle. Click the green Edit button.

2. Click the Add an Activity or Resource button on the topic you want to add the External tool to.

PLEASE NOTE: There are two different ways to complete the next step depending on which view you are in. If you see two separate drop-down boxes, click Add an activity and select External Tool. For more information about this option, view Activity Chooser Option.

3. Select the External tool option from the list of activities and resources available. Click Add

4. Give the activity a name then use the drop down box to choose which type of tool you want to add. In this case select MH Campus.

5. Click Save and display at the right of the floating gray box when finished.

To Use the MH Campus External Tool:

1. Upon creating this resource, a new window will open asking you to agree to the McGraw-Hill Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and the MH Campus Terms of Service before continuing. Check the checkbox next to I agree and then click the Get Started button at the bottom of the window. 

  • NOTE: If you do not see this window, please allow pop-ups from Moodle 3 in your browser.

2. Once you agree to the terms, you will be sent to a page asking you for the title or ISBN of your textbook. Enter the information and McGraw-Hill will search relevant online resources for your classroom text.
