General Information

Field Support Services assists the user with the installation and configuration of computer programs and services.
 

Eligibility & Order Procedures

Available To:     LSU-owned equipment.

Request Service:     Submit a request to the Help Desk  OR  e-mail your request to helpdesk@lsu.edu.

Delivery Time:    Up to 2 business days.
 

Technical Services  (FREE )

There are some Free Services that are offered for the following systems:

  • Mainframe
  • Lotus Notes
  • Eduroam
  • LSU Email 
     

Technical Services (Charge Applies)

Services which are NOT listed below will be charged a flat rate per hour.  Special Projects will be individually assessed and you will receive a cost estimate.

  • PC Installation
  • Loading a PC
  • Software Package Installation
  • Diagnostic with Software Repair
  • Virus Removal
