General Information

Apple' s operating system, Mac OS X 10.6, known as "Snow Leopard" is still available, though it has been replaced by Apple's latest, "Lion". Snow Leopard was designed specifically for Macs with 64-bit Intel processors. You will notice a big difference in performance by upgrading to Snow Leopard when you run new and old applications. Some of the biggest differences are vast improvements in applications like iPhoto and iMovie. Upgrading will also free up some space on your hard drive because Snow Leopard is less bogged down with system files.
