Moodle: Using the LSU Libraries Research Guides

The LSU Libraries Research Guides tool allows users to access the LSU Libraries Research Guides home page directly from the Moodle course page. These guides organize resources for teaching and research by subject area, guide type, and LSU Libraries group (Main, Special Collections, and Vet Med). Users can also search the full list of subject area librarians, each of whom is the "owner" of research guides in their specific areas. There are also links to make appointments with these librarians or ask questions about various resources on the page.

To Add the LSU Libraries Research Guides Tool:

  1. Log in to Moodle and select a course.

  2. In the course section where you would like to add a Cengage resource or activity, click Create learning activity.
