An automated attendant allows callers to be automatically transferred to an extension without the intervention of an extension without the intervention of an operator or receptionist. The cost of the Auto Attendant is $20 per month. 

Please submit a Work Order request at http://newservicerequest.lsu.edu to order an Auto Attendant. Provide the phone number to be used for the Auto Attendant, as well as the script you would like recorded. Example:  “Thank you for calling LSU. To speak to Admissions, press 1. (8-1234) For the Bursar’s office, press 2. (8-2345). To leave a message for later call back, press 3. (voice mail for 8-3456).”
