General Information
There are two primary ways that
guests and visitors coming to the LSU Baton Rouge Campus can attain
access to University online resources.
1. LSU NetGuest
Account - a LSU NetGuest account grants access to the LSU
Guest Wireless Network Only. See GROK Article
5979 for specific instructions on how to create a
LSU NetGuest Account.
2. LSU Sponsored Guest Account - a LSU Sponsored
guest account is required for individuals that are not employed by
LSU who need extended access to LSU online resources beyond
wireless network access (e.g. LSU domain account, LSU Network).
Requesting a Sponsored Guest Account:
All LSU Sponsored Guest Accounts must have a sponsor. A sponsor
is someone that is directly employed with LSU that serves as the
primary contact for the guest. The sponsor will receive and
