SNAP: Activities & Resources: Research Help Settings

The Research Help Activity connects students with librarian assistance. For instructions on adding this resource to Moodle, see SNAP: Activities & Resources: Add Research Help.

Research Help Settings

General Settings:

Because the Research Help resource automatically creates a title and description on the main course page, instructors do NOT need to add one here. Whatever is entered in the General section will not appear to students or be saved in the settings.

Access Restriction Settings:

The resource can be restricted based upon a date, group, activity completion of another activity/resource in the course, etc.

NOTE: If more than one restriction is added, students must meet EACH of the requirements before the resource becomes available.

Activity Completion Settings:

By default, students can manually mark the assignment as complete. The only option instructors have is to choose not to indicate activity completion.
