SNAP: Blocks: Activity Results


Activity Results Block

The Activity Results block displays results from graded or rated activities in a course. It can be set to display on the main course page, or on the page of a specific activity. The block will display grades from quizzes, assignments, lessons, and workshops. If using this block, be sure to follow all FERPA policies.

To Add the Blog Tags Block:

*NOTE: You will need to do these steps if you do not see the Blog Tags block on your Moodle page.

1. Log in to your course on Moodle.

2. Look below the left menu and click on Course Tools.

3. Click on the Edit blocks button on the Course Tools page.

4. Select Activity Results in the Add a Block drop-down box.

5. The page will refresh and the block should appear. Click the gear icon (Actions) and select Configure Activity Results Block from the drop down menu.

6. Enter in the necessary information. You can choose which activity the results should come from, how many results you want to show, and the privacy of the results. If this is a graded item, consider FERPA regulations.

7. When finished customizing the settings, click Save changes at the bottom.

8. You must click on Stop Editing at the top of the course before attempting to return to your main course page.

To Delete the Activity Results Block:

1. Log in to your course on Moodle.

2. Look below the left menu and click on Course Tools.

3. Click on the Edit blocks button on the Course Tools page.

4. Locate the Activity Results block and click the gear icon (Actions). Then, click on Delete Activity results block from the dropdown menu.

5. You must click on Stop Editing at the top of the course before attempting to return to your main course page.
