Moodle 3: Activities & Resources: External Tools: Zoom Web Conference

Add Zoom to a Moodle Course (Non-SNAP Themed)

1. Zoom is considered an External Tool within Moodle. To add an external tool, please first execute the steps outlined in the following article:

2. Once you've clicked Add (as indicated in step four of the aforementioned article), select Zoom Web Conference in the Preconfigured tool drop down menu.

3. If this is a non-graded participation assignment, un-check Accept grades under the Privacy menu.

4. When finished click Save and display.

5. The next page displays the Show my course meetings only check box; if you check this and refresh the page, the list view will show only meetings for the current course. If unchecked, you will see the list of Zoom meetings for all of your Moodle courses.

6. Using the tab All My Zoom Meetings/Recordings will allow you to view any meeting regardless of if it is in Moodle. Students will only see meetings for the current course.
