Accessing the Cherwell Client Portal

Customers can access the client portal online at https://itsm.lsu.edu/CherwellPortal/IT. Customers may use their PAWS ID to login and create, edit, and view Service Desk tickets.

Customers who do not have a PAWS ID may call the Service Desk directly at 225-578-3375 to receive an update on the status of their tickets.

 

Portal Navigation

Accessible from the homepage:

  • Search GROK Knowledge Base: Redirects you to GROK knowledge base.
  • Find an Answer: You can access the GROK database from this link.
  • Service Catalog: You can view the IT service catalog, narrow your service search, and initiate a service ticket.
  • Contact Service Desk: You can input your name, email, phone number, and a question or comment for the Service Desk.
  • My Open Tickets: You can access recently closed requests, incidents, and open requests.
  • Service Desk Contact Info: You have one-click access to the Service Desk phone and email, Faculty Technology Center phone and email, and online Cherwell portal agents.
