The WordCloud slide is available for short answer and essay questions. For essay questions, each word in the response is utilized individually to generate the WordCloud. For short answer questions, the entire response is utilized as one word to generate the WordCloud.

 

How to Create a WordCloud

1. Make sure the “TurningPoint” tab is selected, click New and select Short Answer.

Note:  If you want to create a WordCloud for the essay question, you need to choose Essay.

2. Enter a question for short answer.

Note: If you use Mac, you need to click “Refresh” button in the TurningPoint ribbon after created the short answer question.

3. To insert the WordCloud slide, select Tools and select WordCloud.

4. The Add WordCloud slide window will open. Click the down-arrow and select a question slide for WordCloud.

Note: For Mac user, if the question slide is not shown for the selection, you need to go back the question slide and click Refresh button in the TurningPoint ribbon.

5. Click Insert.

6. The WordCloud slide is inserted into the presentation.
