Moodle 3: Activities & Resources: Label Settings

A label can be added to any desired content area to have a more specific layout. For instructions on adding a label, see Moodle 3: Activities & Resources: Add a Label.

Label Settings

General Settings:

Content is added in the Label text section. Content can include text, bullet points, hyperlinks, Kaltura or Panopto videos, and more.

Common Module Settings:

This setting specifies the visibility of the assignment for students (Hide/Show).

Restrict Access Settings:

The label's access can be restricted based upon a date, group, activity completion of another activity/resource in the course, etc.

NOTE: If more than one restriction is added, students must meet EACH of the requirements before the label becomes visible.

Activity Completion Settings:

By default, students can manually mark the assignment as complete. The instructor's only options here are to either allow students to mark the activity as complete, or to not track completion at all.

Tags Settings:

Tags are keywords that can be added to an activity or resource.
