Moodle 3: Blocks: Configure Block Settings

This article has not been updated recently and may contain dated material.

Each block added to a Moodle course page has a Configure menu. This allows instructors to customize the block to their specifications. While some of the settings are specific to each block, each block includes the following sections:

  • Where the block appears section (global course page settings)
  • On this page section (individual course page settings)

To Access the Configure Menu:

1. Log into your course and click on the Edit button at the top right of the page to turn editing on.
