Moodle 3: Activities & Resources: Add SCORM Package

A SCORM package is a collection of files which are packaged according to an agreed standard for learning objects. The SCORM activity module enables SCORM or AICC packages to be uploaded as a zip file and added to a course.

To Add a SCORM Package Activity : 

1. Login to Moodle.

2. Select the green Edit button in the top-right corner of the Moodle course.

3. Select the Add an Activity or Resource option.

PLEASE NOTE: There are two different ways to complete the next step depending on which view you are in. If you see two separate drop-down boxes, click Add an activity and select SCORM Package. For more information about this option, view Activity Chooser Options.


4. Select SCORM Package from the Activities list.

5. Enter a Name and Description (optional) in the General settings.

6. Personalize the SCORM Package in the SCORM Package settings.

7. Select the Save and Return to Course option at the bottom of the screen.
