Moodle 3: Activities & Resources: Quiz Question Types: Description

Within a Quiz, an instructor can provide instructions, rubric, graphics, or other content through the use of the Description option. This is similar to the way that labels can be used to add content to the course page.

To Add a Description to a Quiz:

1. Log onto Moodle and select your course.

2. Under the Administrator block on the left side of the page, select the folder Question bank then select Questions.

5. General Settings include Question name, Question text, and General feedback which are required. Within the Question text field, instructors can add graphics, text, or even video using the appropriate buttons on the text editor menu.

NOTE: It is suggested that the question name be something specific (other than Description) so that it is easier to find and edit it later.
