To Add a Contact from Outlook to OneNote:

 You can insert contacts from Outlook into OneNote so you can take notes on them

1. In OneNote, click on the Home Tab in the control bar.

2. Click on the Tags section to bring up the drop down list.

3. Select the Contact option from the list.

4. Enter the contact information in the pop up box.

NOTE: To add a meeting or appointment to OneNote, follow steps 1 through 2, selecting a meeting instead of a contact - You will need to have Microsoft Outlook 2016 installed and setup correctly with your email account in order to have full access to these features.
