OS X Lion: Connecting to eduroam


To Connect to Eduroam on OS X Lion: 

1. Select System Preferences from the dock.

2. Click Network.

3. Select the drop-down menu, and click eduroam.  Then, click Apply from the bottom-right hand corner of the screen.

NOTEIf eduroam does not initially show up in the drop-down menu, click Join Other Network... and select eduroam from the list, then continue to step 4.

4. Enter your PAWS ID with "@lsu.edu" at the end and password and click OK

NOTE: If you do not enter your PAWS credentials in the form <PAWS ID>@lsu.edu, you WILL receive an error message.

5. You should now be connected to eduroam wireless network.


NOTE: If configuration still fails, the user must go into the Lion-unique "Profiles" pane in System Preferences and remove any reference to eduroam 802.1X.
