Windows 7: Unzip a File

General Information

Windows 7 has a built-in program to unzip files.  For more information, see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/compress-and-uncompress-files-zip-files.
 

Expand the Files of a .zip File (UnZip)

Follow these Steps:

  • Right-click the .zip file, where the file is located.

  • Select Extract All.

  • Click Extract.

  • Your files will appear in a new folder in the same location as the original .zip file.
