How To Complete the Request?

Delivery Timeline or Response Time

Project plans, depending on their complexity, can take 7 to 21 work days; this is an estimate, as many projects may go through multiple iterations before all parties agree on what work is to be included.

Execution, which is dependent upon the availability of Facility Services and/or their contractor, GM Cable, may begin as much as 3 to 6 weeks after receipt of the request. For this reason, it is imperative we receive your request as early in the project as possible; failure to do this can lead to increased costs and unnecessary delays in the completion of your project.

To avoid increased costs and project delays, we strongly suggest:
• You contact UNI at the same time you contact Facility Services.
• If buying new modular furniture, send your UNI request no later than the day you send your requisition to Purchasing.

Fees

None.

Authorizations

Projects which change the nature or use of a space may require approval of University Facilities Planning Committee, prior to execution. For more info on this, see PS-84 (below).
