Remove a Header and Footer from the First Page

1. Open a Word 2007 Document.

2. On the Page Layout tab, click the Page Setup Dialog Box Launcher.  (The small arrow at the right-hand side of the tab.)

3. Click the Layout tab.

4. Select the Different first page check box under Headers and footers.

5. Click OK.

6. Headers and Footers are now removed from the first page of the document.
