MS Paint: Saving a Document in Paint

This Article will guide you through the steps of saving a picture in Paint.
To Save a New File in Microsoft Paint:
1. Select the File menu, then click Save As from the taskbar at the top left of the screen.
2. This will open a window entitled Save As. From this window you can browse your computer and select where to save the file. In the File name textbox, enter the name of the file and click Save.
To Save a Preexisting File:
1. To save a preexisting file, select the File menu then click Save and it will save the file automatically.
NOTE: You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + S to save a preexisting file.
