MS Paint: Saving a Document in Paint

This Article will guide you through the steps of saving a picture in Paint.

To Save a New File:

1. Select Page | Save As from the taskbar at the top of the screen.

2. This will open a window entitled Save As. From this window you can browse your computer and select where to save the file. In the file name blank, enter the name of the file and click Save.

To Save a Preexisting File:

1. To save a preexisting file, select File | Save and it will save the file automatically.

NOTE: You can use the key-stroke Ctrl + S to auto save a preexisting file.
