VLab software runs through the users' browser and is not available for download or purchase. Work can be saved to TigerBytes, but not directly to any external storage disks or drives. By saving projects and documents from Vlab to TigerBytes, students are able to access the files anywhere the officially licensed software is available.

NOTE: To access the document students must be on campus or be able to log in to TigerBytes through PAWS. The document will not open without a fully licensed version of the software. Once the project has been uploaded to TigerBytes, it can then be moved to an external drive or disk, but students are not allowed to save the file directly to a drive without accessing TigerBytes.
To save projects from VLab to TigerBytes:
1. Within the program go to File and click Save As. NOTE: All examples are used with Microsoft Word. Other programs may vary during this step.

2. A Save As window should then appear mirroring normal Windows protocol. Click on the My Computer icon.

3. Click on the drive titled with your PAWS ID followed by the lsu.edu web extension.

4. Edit the title and then click Save. The document has now been saved and uploaded to TigerBytes.
