Microsoft Outlook: Mail and Post: Revised Ink Annotations (Toolbar) Functions

The table shows the changes in the location of Ink Annotation commands for Mail and Post in Microsoft Outlook. The column on the left lists the commands as presented in Outlook 2003, while the column on the right shows the commands' new locations in Outlook 2007.

Annotation Pen

>

Select Message. Click Ink. Click Start Inking.

Annotation Pen

>

Select Discussion. Click Ink. Click Start Inking.

Eraser

>

Select Ink Tools. Click Pens, Pens and then Eraser.

Line Color

>

Select Ink Tools. Click Format. Click Color.

Line Style

>

Select Ink Tools. Click Format. Click Weight.

Select Objects

>

Select Ink Tools. Click Pens, Select and then Select Objects.

Select Objects

>

Select Format Text. Click Editing, Select and then Select Objects.

Stop Erasing

>

Select a different writing tool to stop erasing.

Stop Inking

>

Select Ink Tools. Click Pens. Click Close Ink Tools.
