Windows Movie Maker: Adding a Title Over a Video

This article will explain how to add text (a title) over a video in Windows Movie Maker.

To Add Text Over Your Video:

1. In Windows Movie Marker, go to Titles and Credits.

2. Then click Title on the selected clip.

3. Select the Change the title animation or Change the text font and color button if you would like to edit the font or animation of your text.

4. In the Enter Text for Title box write the text that you want to appear on your video and press the Add Title button. Now the users text will now appear on your video as the clip you chose plays during the video.
