Opera: Restoring Speed Dial

Speed Dial is a function of Opera that gives users quick access to their favorite Web sites. Every time a new tab is opened, users are presented with a 3 x 3 grid of thumbnails representing different Web addresses. For users that have previously hidden their Speed Dial, Opera allows them to restore it with one click. This article will show users how to restore their speed dial in Opera.

1. Open Opera. Open a new tab by clicking New tab on the tab bar and that should bring up a blank page.

2. Click the Show Speed Dial button located at the bottom right corner of the window right above the task bar.
Note: The Show Speed Dial button will only appear if you have previously hidden the speed dial.

Click the "Show Speed Dial" button located at the bottom right corner of the window right above the taskbar.

3. Speed Dial will now be restored to the current page.

Speed Dial will now be restored to the current page.

Note: Now that Speed Dial has been restored, users will get the Speed Dial when opening a new tab.
