iChat: Overview

iChat is an instant messenger designed by Apple for their Mac OS X systems that is supported by AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). iChat can connect to other instant messenger applications such as Yahoo! Messenger and MSN Messenger by using a Jabber transport. In addition to being an instant messenger, iChat can be used for audio and video conferences.
