Microsoft Excel 2007: Reapply or Clear a Filter

When working with filters in Excel 2007 over long periods of time, it may become necessary to reapply criteria or clear the filtering command altogether.

To Re-apply a Filter or Sort:

1. Make sure the active workbook contains Sort or Filter data.

2. Click the Home tab.

3. Click Sort & Filter in the Editing group.

4. Click Reapply.

To Clear a Filter:

1. In a filtered range, click the Filter button.

2. Click Clear Filter from <Column Name>.

To Clear All Filter Data from the Workbook:

1. Activate the Home tab.

2. Click Sort & Filter in the Editing group.

3. Click Clear.
