Before upgrading to Windows 7, we suggest that you download, install, and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. You can get it from the Microsoft Website.

1. Click Download the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on the Microsoft Web site.
2. Click Save File.

3. Double-click the file to open it.

4. Select Run.

5. Click Next to continue the setup.

6. Read the license terms and check the box to accept them. Click Next.

7. Select the folder in which you would like to install the advisor, and click Install.

8. Once the installation is complete, you will be notified. Click Close.

9. Double-click the icon for the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor program.

10. Click Start Check.

11. You will now be informed of the programs that are compatible or incompatible with Windows 7 that you might have to alter or re-install once you upgrade to Windows 7.
