Internet Explorer 8: How to Turn Off Tabs

Internet Explorer 8 offers users the ability to turn on/off tabs. Follow these steps:


1. Click Tools on the command bar.

2. Select Internet Options at the bottom of the dropdown menu.

3. Under the General tab, click Settings under Tabs.

4. Under Open links from other programs in, select A new tab in the current windowA new tab in the current window, or The current tab or window, as desired.

5. Click OK.
