Internet Explorer 8: GROK Search Provider

This article will show how to have the GROK Search Provider in Internet Explorer 8.

1. Open Internet Explorer 8 and go to grok.lsu.edu

2. Click the drop down arrow on the far right of the search toolbar, scroll down to Add Search Providers and then select GROK.

3. You will then be asked if you want to add GROK as a search provider, you are also given the option to make GROK the default search provider, when finished click Add.

4. To use the GROK search provider, click the drop down arrow next to the search bar and select GROK.

5. Then simply type what you are looking for, on the GROK website, into the search bar and press enter.
